new to this site got my 85 gslse bout 1 1/2 ago ive done many mods rebuilt eng, rb header, exaust ect, removed fuel injection and put it in the trash replaced with a demon carb set up now im looking to polish and shine the gslse's original wheels if anyone has takled this project i like a bit of info as far as tools neede and technique, i left another rotary site dat i wont mention my name because of the immature talk by members and other non rx7 related topics i hope this site is better for info

AirCraft stipper to remove the sealer. Mothers aluminum polish. Elbow grease. Or you can use a buff ball with a drill. Works good.

how do you keep the aircraft stripper off the tires?

Do you have the spider pitting on your rims? The stripper is hard work. I ended up having my professionally redone (and i am not the type to pay somebody to do the work I should be doing).

Omg they look soo damn sexy... If you dont mind me asking.. How much was it to have them redone.. Theres a guy around where I live and he charges $150 per wheel.
