I'm making up a toolkit to carry in the car. My list so far:
10,12,14mm combination wrenches flat & philips screwdrivers regular pliers (smallish tip, but not needle nose) pocketknife booster cables (more important in winter) tow rope (i'm paranoid) spark plug wrench can of ATF can of oil electrical tape duct tape rag This should all easily fit in my storage bin behind the driver's seat which isn't used for anything else anyway. Anything I missed? |
Condoms...

Hey I always like to carry tools in my truck, (not the REPU, yet) cause if something busts on my truck or if we are caravaning and something busts on someone else's car we can fix it Pronto..

I used to carry my whole toolbox (not that big but still) in the trunk of my Passat. Mostly to keep them from getting mixed up with my Dad's stuff. I never needed them on the road. But then that thing had a trunk the size of Texas.

Get some telescoping magnets, the kind that look like a pen, but extend to like two feet. They are like 2.99 at Harbor freight. Also a dentist tool kit works good, like the scrapers and stuff they use to clean your teeth. Again, 2.99 at Harbor Freight. The magnets kick ass though.
