it looks really good...
but in my opinion the popups look better. |
me too. pop-ups are extra cool on 1st gen's imo.

I don't like the stock lights at all, but if the fitment of the flush isn't good then it's not good either. There's also that flip up kit that makes it into two lights that are smaller and therefore shorter when open. I like that one too. This is my fav so far:

I personally like the flush lights on FB's and FC's. Never liked them on FD's though.
I personally like the CP racing kit, nice and cheap and seems easy to hook up. |

Yeah the flush lights are better looking.
|
there was just a scratch? that seems silly to bash their product and say it is cheap. **** happens, it is plastic, and I am sure if you called them and told them the problem they would have sent you another set.
i was thinking that you thought they were a piece of **** kit? |

I have never seen a targa either. There was a second gen guy though that had one. It looked really good. Look at stiffening that frame https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/smile.png

thanks I still have not heard back from the body shop...
|
You know I was also talking to an auto-x guy a while ago and he said that removing the interior and just welding up where mazda tack welded works wonders.
|
I will keep that in mind
|
I like the stock pop-upz for the SA/FB chassis, but I don't like the stock bulbz though.if anybody knowz weather and/or where tu get what I think are called "diamond-cut" beamz taht fit the stock pop-upz, then please let mi know...
|
I like pop ups too, just cleaner looking to me. Less cluttered... They used to sell the pilot models at Autozone. Maybe they got cracked down on?? They offered them for about 6 mos. to a year, then they disapppeared. I have seen them on ebay, truck magazines, and the local custom shops though? Also Victoria British has some for $30 a pop. VERY expensive compared to local places.,,,,BB
