ok racing beat says they dont recommend the weber 48 carb setup on a 13b 4 port on stock ports. would there be a problem with this combo and how difficult is it to install this setup?

A 48 is big for a NA setup. Is this a turbo or NA car?I have a 45 DCOE on my 13B six port and its a little big.

Yea, the 45 is a little big for the stock port, so a 48 wouldn't be too good. Most people get the 45 and put 38 or 40mm venturies in.

48 IDA's are very coldblooded, too much carb for a stock ported engine, works good on streetported, brideported, and peripheral port engines. Not good for your daily driver car, hard to start in the cold weather, not very good lowend response, no choke. I love the carbs for full racing applications, but not stock engine street cars! Hope this helps. Carl

Yea, a 45 weber dcoe with 38 or 40mm chokes, 180 main jets, 160 air jets, and velocity stacks. That should do it.

wouldnt that be a 4 port?
