What sizes should be in my carb for it to run properly? This is the same annoying carb that I got off CP racing the "supposedly" came off a identical stock port that was running as well.I have had the carb for almost a year and thats how long its been sitting trying to figure the fucker out now.Any sizes close to what I need is very usefull. This carb was used for 10 hours prior to me buying it.

Thanks

Its a weber 45 DCOE on a stock port GSL-SE 6-port NA block with a Racing Beat Header and 2.5" exhaust. No emissions.

well, first off, whats in it? mains, air bleeds, e-tubes, idle jets and ap jets? that will be a goos starting point. altitud and tep/humidity have an affect on how the car runs. waht fuel pressure are you running? mazspeed.com has an aticle on webers in the facts section, check that out, it has some recomendations. also, are you running the 5th&6th ports open? or are they working as they are suposed to?

go with f7 or f11 emulsion tubes....... 65f8 or 65f9 idle jets.....180 main fuel jet to start with and a 180 to 190 air jet....the venturies that work best with a 45 carb are 36mm.... some shops use 38mm or bigger to get more flow out of the carb but it usally results in excessive carb bogging.....thats a good starting point.....

Not sure whats in it right now.Supposedly this came off a running 6-port 13B like mine but has never ran for more than a few seconds on my Se 6-port motor.I regret selling my dellorto for this carb now.I was running a 48 DHLA last year with no problems other than the occasional flooding.I have now sleeves on my aux. ports now.

well before you go buying anything you better find out whats in your carb to begin with.....

i dont like Dellorto carbs but if i had to pick between a 45 weber or a 48 Dellorto i would have to pick the Dellorto.....

the 13b motors really need a 48 to run properly.......

the best would be a 48 weber!!!!!!that would haul ass!!!
