Setzep informed me that the fuel pump I bought (in-tank Walbro 255lph) will not drop right in, contrary to what the guy who sold it to me said!



Anyways, how many of you have gone this route and have something to show me to help me out?

I believe I can fab what I need, if I only had a picture of what I need to fab...if that makes any sense...

how exactly is it not fitting right...will the pump not fit on the stand/support or what?

I tried to find a good way to mount mine in my tank but gave up. I even made a bracket to hang it in the tank but in the end I decided it wasn't the way to go. I'm going back to my external bosch pump.

Crap, don't tell me that! I will mess around with it tomorrow...

i just used a walbro inline, fits like a champ!

Is there a pro/con to using an inline vs intank pump?

pro- it will work in the stock location



con- probably louder
