how hard is this? it looks to be the most frightening part of the swap, putting the stock t2 wiring harness into a 12a car. about how many hours did this take everyone who has done it?
i did get mine to work , bout if u can buy a stand alone go for it save the time and problems .
im going to swich over to stand alone since u cant run much boost in stock ecu
with out buying the piggyback safc etc etc .. and is much safer .
u gonna spend about the same money as the stand alone unless u can modd the harnes ur self
maf ,map it all adds up belive me !

Exactly what 1979 said. By the time your FIND and buy an afm, boost sensor, ecu, harness etc etc, your money ahead going stand alone.
I actually on my third ecu, and electric omp, S-5 swap. So there alone is like $500 in used parts. Plus I bought a FCD and a S-AFC so I could play with boost and adjust fuel. KNowing what i do now. I would advise just going to staight to a ems. I will be installing my over the Christmas holiday.
To answer your question, I took two weekends to sort out the wiring and install it. BTW You only need about half of the wires for the car to start and run. Just the main **** and you will be fine.
