I spoke to my mechanic yesterday and I was planing to remove my peripheral port 13b and placing a new 13b extend port running T-66.
There's nothing wrong with my P Port, I just want more power. I told him about running my P Port with a T-66 and he said I can't turbo a P Port. I said "Why Not" He said " To many problems and that the engine timing can't be done https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683561.gif Why Not https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683561.gif |
you can do it, it will have monstrous overlap, which in turn is not good for the turbo,
it can be done, but your idle should be very high |
Do you know what timming and idle speed it sould be at.
At least we have somewhere to start. No-one in Australia turbo's anything except extend port (street port) |
theres too much overlap on a pp to have any backpressure in the exhaust at all. you would need a super big turbo to not have it restricted, or 2 medium sized turbos. it would be hard to set up but once you did it it would make some crazy power

My mechanic said that he can not do it. So i've decided not to and go street port with T-66 instead.
Thanks anyway guy's |

Get a new mechanic I'm sure it can be done. A good mechanic would be willing to take on a good challenge it seems like he's scared or just not that good. Theres a difference between a parts changer and a skilled mechanic.
