I ordered some NGK spark plugs from racing beat, specifically for my street ported motor. My engine is an 85' 12A street ported with 3mm apex seals. The only problem is the plugs I ordered have a single electrode, and a local mechanic and good friend says that rotaries dont use these types of spark plugs. I called RB and asked, and they said it was perfectly fine. So do you guys think its safe to run this kind of plug? Its an NGK, part number: 11523. Thanks

Rotaries generally use spark plugs with 3 electrodes or a full circular electrode, but if RB says they're fine, who are we to argue? They know their ****.

Its o.k. to run single electrode plugs as long as the spark is really good. If these plugs are for a ported engine Im sure RB knows how much spark you need.

B8EV or whatever it is has a single ground. You must use a thin-wall sparkplug socket with it though (unless you've got older housings).

Personally, I'd use BUR7EQ.
