notice the mechanical fuel pressure gauge...the braided line hanging under the glove box goes to the isolator.

also pictured to the left of it is the a/f ratio gauge which helped me tune the carb perfectly.

where are you buying the NOS system from ??? just as soon as i can find

a system that fits under the nikki,,and larger exhuast,fuel pump,and a

hotter spark,,i'm there,,,no more then 75 hp for me,,i want the engine to live for awhile,,you know ?

mperformance 06-21-2002 11:35 PM

I'll shoot the 150 with the bridge.

You can find the kit in www.summitracing.com it's part #NOS 03050

it's the sportsmans fogger direct port system. It's a wet system so it's pretty safe. I think minimum jetting is at 75hp which a stock 12a can handle safely. Just make sure you get enough fuel.

i just got a 12a bp and im planning on running nitrous after i do the whole exhaust ( full 3" custome exhaust no silencer or cat) im gonna run a NOS plate system with about a 90hp shot. that should be good for about low 13's maybe 12's with a good set of slicks https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/BURNOUT.gif

mperformance 06-25-2002 12:04 PM

12s should not be a problem https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/smile.png

You sure 3 in for a non turbo engine?Im running 2 1/2 with free flow muffler and has no problem..

mperformance 06-25-2002 05:48 PM

He said BP...that's about right

13b1stgen 06-26-2002 08:20 AM

yup 3" piping is what you need when you run a bridge port na motor and even more with nitrous.

hey sorrow i just noticed your in Tampa ....do you ever get out to the track at Moroso? Gainsville? Orlando? im taking my car as soon as i get the exhaust done.

SoRRoW 06-26-2002 08:31 AM

**** it ..im just gonna have to redo my exhast..

My header is a RacingBeat roead race header...Square flange..How long should I make the y i think i made it at 15-18 inches..maybe I can reuse the Y

Add an electric cooling fan...

Nice ride... those rims kind of remind me of my 2.3litre mustang coupe wheels...

mperformance 06-30-2002 05:25 PM

Twin89stangs...MAn you just read my mind. I just finished installing a 14" electric fan today. It's hidden by the evaporator side so now the engine bay looks a lot cleaner...

SoRRoW 07-07-2002 06:32 PM

I was gonna do that set up once I get my new radiator..BUT how does it cool?Does it still get fresh air in?and How about in stop/go traffic?

mperformance 07-09-2002 12:29 AM

it's cooling ok...but I suggest mounting it on the radiator side.. I think the condenser should get it's own fan...I do use the a/c...temp is a.o.k. though
