Okay, here is the scoop. I've got a GREAT deal lined up on a 84 GSL-SE 4intact apex seals, and the rest of the car is in amazing shape and all I have to do is pick it up https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png . Now, I've never owned a rotary before, but I've got a pretty good handle on them(I've always wanted one) the question is this: Could I swap in the higher hp series 5 13b fuel injected motor into this car? I figure they are bolth F.I. so that has to simplify alot, and the motors bolth have the same engine code... is it a drop in sort of deal?

In addition where can I pick up an S5 motor preferably a Reman so I won't have to worry about it, and if the price is right a streetported one would be nice.

If not, where could I get a reman S3 13b?

ull need the series 5, ecu, harness, coils. ull keep the GSLSEs, oil pan and front cover.

u can go with a fuel only ecu and keep the GSLSEs ignition system.

the S5 engine will bolt to the GSLSE tranny, however the clutches/flywheel are not interchangeable. u might need a new fuel pump also.

i beleive thats the bulk of it. but im not completely sure.

it would be best to build the gsl-se block with the s5 guts, imo

Were could I get the guts for it(just the S5 lightweight, high-comp rotors right?) or, were could I send the motor and have someone do that for me. I'd also like a streetport so it might be more sane if I just send it off to get some work done.

I supose that would help https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/blush.png . I live in Washington state, in an area that seems to be Rotary-retarded. There is a place near by that builds rotary engines for Airplanes, but that dude has some wierd motors there. And then there is a run down first-gen graveyard near by, buy man is it ever a shady shop.

I have a huge thread on how to do this swap...it's a Cosmo motor but it's all the same.
