whatever you do torque the with a torque whench @ 80 foot pound. i had 5 spoke stag wheels in a 85 gsl i had and i forgot to torque the with a torque whench and one of the whell almost came off the car. a good recomendation get the stud kit for non SE from mazdatrix is verry helpfull and they dont get loose like the mazda's stud/bolt tipe

Yup just make sure you start the lugs by hand so you don't round off the threads.

Along the same lines I just posted about using ford focus wheels at rx7club.com. I understand the 15"x6" Focus wheels have a 4.25" bolt pattern which equates to 107.95mm. It would be a really close fit but I think it could be pulled off. Any first hand experience with these? How wide can you go on a gsl with stock suspension? I need a bit more meat under the car but I don't want to spend big bucks.

Focus wheels are 5 bolt aren't they?

eddierotary 12-12-2003 04:16 PM

no, they are four but try them probably they fit and remember to torque them at 80 foot pound
