I wonder how tough it was to tune the carb, and if there're any drivability issues.

I bought a 48 DHLA from Racer X for a blow thru setup, but then the motor I bought came with the ECU and all the other EFI stuff. So, I've been trying to decide what to do for the past couple weeks while I work on the rest of the engine swap. It would sure be nice to just go with the carb, though...

it will be a much easier install if you go with the carb blow through as well as make more power!! for sure!
