Hi again and thanks for all the responses on my previous inquiry. I found almost all the parts I was looking for at the various places that were suggested.

One part I have had no luck on is the rear shelf that is behing the seats under the carpet. It is actually 2 sheet metal pieces, left and right, that form the ledge behind the seats. Mine are rusted badly. Probably all others are too! What do people do to replace these and what is the main cause of the water getting to them to rust them so badly? The door weatherstrips look OK. This car has a sunroof that looks like it sealing OK.

Help!

thanks for the reminder https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/angry.gif ... That's the reason why we junk 99% of the 7's up here... Every time I see one get towed away to that golden racetrack in the sky, I die a little...

P.S.... You may be able to get someone with a break to fab you a rough equivalent... shouldn't be too much. I tihkn its mostly bends and cutting stuff out IIRC, But the easiest would be to find even a half decent set from a wrecker if you can, and then repair them...
