Hey fellow Rotarians,
I was wondering how feasible it would be to put the rear axel from a 84 gsl into my 83 gs-le. I really want the LSD and rear disk brakes. Thanks Lu |
i think it is bolt on...
just don't know about the hand brake and the master brake cylender.. i think it's not hard |
THanks for the info

i forgotten something
the flange for the drive shaft will not have the same bolt paturn you can put the 84 flange yokes on your drive shaft or the complete 84 drive shaft |
make sure you check the thread on the brake lines, not the size the thread changed in 83 so you could buy an adapter from a hydraulic shop or call up racing beat for the brake line kit, also the e-brake cables are shorter for the drum brake car and longer for the disk brake car so keep that in mind, use the same driveshaft that came with the rearend you are using and you should be fine. I did the whole gsl-se swap on my 80 and it works great.
