really just because its in really good shape, they made something like 40,000 rx7's between 2-78 and the start of the 1980 model, which would be like 6-79. where they all went is anybodies guess

I believe that's a 79, maybe even an 80 Model. the 79's didn't have the FB Sunroof. The 80's did.

yeah i don't think thats a 78. I thought the 78 had no passenger side mirror. I thought it just came on the driver side.

Mine's dated 11/78 but it has the hood prop on the passenger side and the fb style glass and metal sunroof.
