Just out of curiousity, did the '84-'85 GSL-SE come with the same six-port 13B motor that the '86-'88 came with?
And how much do the '84-'85 GSL-SE weigh? |
Well, Buckaroo...
I'm sure someone knows the exact weight, but I don't, except that it's probably near or about 200 pounds. As far as the 13B goes, it's been around for a long while. There was a 13B in my '76 RX-4. My understanding is that the 13B mounted in the '84/'85 SE is a superior engine. Everything else about the car sure is. Something about thicker, or at least better rotor apex seals, and perhaps more. Anyway most 7 folks agree that the SE version of the 13B lasts longer, runs better, and is a great spinner. The other good on is the '89 engine in that it has a higher compression ratio... The 84 GSL-SE does have a 6PI 13b. The curb weight is 2590 lbs. For more info check out http://beyondtheredline.fd3s.net
