Well, i went to check out that first gen on sat morning. and let me tell u its ******* sweet. straight body, not even a little dent or scratch. great interior w/ a alpine system and cd changer. limo tint all the way around. and the big dog of it all, the bridgeport with the 48ida. i had half the cash on me for the car and handed it over to my buddy who was selling me the car. worked out a payment plan and **** like that so i can take the car home already. sounds great huh? nope, i decided not to buy the car and pick up a stcok gsl or gslse and build the motor from there. sure its gonna cost a little more but at least i can say i put in the wrench time to build the car.

i was thinking maybe instead of going with the bridge when i start to build it that ill go with a moster street port. a little less quiet and wont get me into as much trouble. plus my buddy said with the bridge said that i might kill myself driving that car. plus i didnt wanna ruin me and my friends friendship if i miss a payment or something. nothing is worth that much.

so heres the plan, pick up a stock gsl-se or gsl and build from there. go with a monster street port with a 48ida tha he will hold onto for me. i figure i would start working on the car 6-12 months after i buy it. i mean working on the engine. but i will have the emissions crap off of the car i buy as soon as i get it.

u guys think i made a good call? spend 3000 now and be broke for a while or spend 3500 in a total amount of lets say 3 years and still have money to spare every month.

thanks for reading my babbling

thats what i figured. esp if something was to happen to my family car again. then i would have to sell the 1st gen to cover that ****, then have nothing to show. hey repu, u know anyone looking for a bridgeprt or a just a straight 1st gen shell?
