I have a ECU and relays from my GT-X.I am looking at selling the carb setup and possibly going EFI.Not sure just yet after my last fuel system fun. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683358.gif I have the intakes and AFM alll here because they came with my GT-X but they became new paper wieghts. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/bigok.gif How easy would it be to hookup the stock ECU and EFI to my 83's harness's?The only parts I would need to make this swap doable is a EFI engine harness and pump.I have everything else.Just something to consider if I don't save myself a headache and buy a 650 holley setup

thanks

i might have a harness for u if i can take my butt out there in these 2 weeks i got off and work on the car...ill just need some insights as to how effectively remove the darn thing.

The stock SE EFI is terribly restrictive.

I would definately go with the Holley.

Although, a 650 is a little large, especially if going N/A.

600 would be just about perfect for the street.

I guess I'll wait and see if I sell my weber or not. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...DIR#>/wink.png

Were you gonna get a Racing Beat carb? Or an out of the box special? If so, what kind of chanels will you make between the barrels?

I would just get a regular holley for cheap DD use and run a RB manifold.I never ran a rotary downdraft yet. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png Then I would look at a RB modded holley carb.

Ok. You should make yourself some carb spacers. Make one with seperate runners. Make the other with both primaries and secondaries joined together, kinda like this.

ArmyOfOne 12-22-2003 10:37 PM

yeah that will actually help mileage a bit. Mine had the spaces for rotor 1 and rotor 2 together

________

(P1)=(S1)

(P2)=(S2)

and it sucked fuel like mad! and it wasnt even ported.

Jeff20B 12-22-2003 11:12 PM

Were the primaries kept seperate from the secondaries as shown in my pic?

If you already have a Weber...

Then keep it. Why would you waste money on another carb?

Is something wrong with your Weber?
