Holy crap I typed this out and hit refresh instead of back and needless to say it disappeared.

Here's the short version of what I was going to say--

The Seven I was talking about in an earlier post is STILL for sale. So after reading about engine swaps, I thought, me and my dad can do this. Who cares if we don't have rotory or hardcore engine experience? What better place to start? Anywho, I went to drive it today...she left the interior light on the night before and the battery was so dead it couldn't be jumped off. Is that a bad omen?

Here are some pics...tell me what you think...it has 168K miles and the price is now $1200 (was $2K). I got $950 and $650 on Kelley Blue Book for good and fair, respectively.

vosko 03-24-2003 07:15 PM

i wouldn't pay over $500 for that personally

Dysfnctnl85 03-24-2003 08:35 PM

That's what I was going to offer, I mean, I know they won't accept anything too low...

Wow, my high school economics class has real-world applications...if only math teachers could see this...

Anyone else?

my '84 cost me $600, running strong, smoking a little now but still running, alot of oxidation, but no rust.

I wouldn't pay more than $550-$600 for that GS, Test drive it first, see how she runs.

if you want to see pics of mine there's a link in my signature

i have about $700 in my 83, it was $350 to buy it and it needed some work, i'd say its about as nice as that 84 now (without the sunroof rust)
