My shafts.. And that only with drag radials..

How did you notice you had bent shafts? Was the rear making noise?

LOL. This might clear up our little issue...although I don't think mine are bent...it doesn't have very many miles on it.

a) The rear was making noise.

b) I replaced he rear end seals, and the left one is leaking already

(the reason I replaced the stock seal originally)

c) Vibration at 70+ mph

d) Went to have the car professionally aligned by a race shop,

the thrust angle on the rear is off by several degrees

(and there's no way to safely adjust it back to stock)

e) The left rear caliper makes noise too (clack, clack, clack,) until

it I press the brakes (new brakes and rotors too).

Dysfnctnl85 05-30-2004 09:26 PM

My rear end makes noise if I turn right at 20+mph or I turn the wheel all the way at a slow speed...could it be the same thing? It's definitely a clicking noise...

Someone called b.s.? Hes running a 8.8inch rear end with some kind of coilover setup...did you not see the welded bungs for the HUGE injectors? How about the huge ******* turbo? I can vouch for it running 9's like that, beats the **** out of honduhs.

if the caliper makes noise thats a teltale sign of a bent axle, the rotor wobbles and moves the caliper back and forth, this could also be your wierd alignment....
