I have an 80 motor in an 85. And don't know where to hook up the oil pressure or temp forget which one. Just curious if there is a place to do it or if you have to get some special hook up for it. Maybe I just over looked it somewhere.

Good Morning All;

If you can find the Oil Sender from a under filter style oil cooler the next step is to order a adapter from Racing Beat. Part # 11802 (Oil Pressure and Temperature Adapter) Cost $48.00US

The Sender is a 2.5inch round brass looking with a 1/8npt fitting that screws into this adapter.

Just block the Temp outlet if your not goin to use it.

The adapter from RB comes with new O rings and 2 bolts. Took me about 15mins to do the hole thing. Just remember to use Tefflon tape when installing the sender to the adapter.

If you can't find a sender, the Mazda dealer sells them for $22.00.

This setup will work like a charm if you follow these direction.

Any questions email me at

Hello RacerX;

The machine is working FINALLY.

My new Yokohama Tires where sopposed to be in yesterday and the tire shop has my wheels.

they recieved 1 tire. Sooo the RX is still sitting on jacks. I ran it for 2 hours yesterday and did alot of fine tunning and she PURRRRSSS like a Vagina. I can't beleive that I figured out the wireing! I'm kind of like a Tim Allen when it comes to that.

Project for today: Try to insulate my Holley Blue Pump. That sucker sure is noisy.

Have you read the timing question I posted this Morning?

Take care and keep going Round & Round

Steve

P.S. Whats your name anyway
