hey guys been putting my series 2 back together and i noticed when i turn the key all the usual warning lights thats ment to come on simply dont come on and i noticed the blower motor isnt working at all i checked all the connections and simply im confused the car goes in for a road worthy certificate on monday and this will fail it if i cant get them working can any one help

Have you checked the engine/chassis ground on the driver's side shock tower?

no i havent but ill have a look to night when i get home from work cheers hope that helps

no luck :( ill keep looking around incase a wire or something has come undone

ok so it seems i have narrowed it down to the accessories either a short or the actual key way not working any ideas on how to test

Is there a fusible link somewhere in this gen? My '72 Corvette had a similar symptom and it was the fusible link, in the wiring that came off the starter. Good luck! Electrical problems can be a real PIA to track down.
