Never put an engine in anything at all or just a rotary?

I wouldn't say it is necessarily harder than any other engine install.

It might help to buy a shop manual. A Haynes or Chiltons will at least give you a step by step on how to do it.

Hey all. Good call from Isamu if you not a hundred percent confindent yourself. As a mechanic, rotors aren't much different at all, you just have bend over further to reach down into the engine bay!!. A couple of things I always do is one, check every thing twice. No harm in taking a little longer if everything works right first time rather than having to piss around for hours. Number two, remember to add all the fluids. It's sounds stupid, but the amount of unneccessary damage I've seen from something as simple as no oil because your close to a start up and you rush!! And number three, when the engine is ready for a start, just crank with the coils off. If anything isn't quite right, the damage is minimised at a slow crank speed.

And good luck https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png

Hey, 82, hope this reaches you in time make sure that you mark EVERTHING before taking the old engine out. All vac. lines, all hoses, cables, wires, ect.. The easiest way I have found to do this is use some masking tape marked with whatever code you decide. Mark the engine with one part of the tape and mark the other side (whatever you are removing from the engine) with the same code. Best of luck,
