I was lookin to swap to some slotted rotors and a little bit softer pads, I dont want to put a ton of money into my brakes yet and have a car that takes an hour to get to speed and a second to stop.

I've looked online and Ebay has some stuff for the 1st gens but not much. Anyone have a link worth lookin at they would care to share with me? I would appreciate it alot.

try mmrusa.com I got my slotted rotors for my GSL-SE for about 150 shipped, I think the 12a brakes are 230 for the pair. They work great along with stainless steel brake lines.

drilled or slotted rotors are nice, but i've found that for the street, stock rotors are fine. so if cost is an issue, you have options to play around with.

the places where i would recommend, not skimping are lines, fluid and pads.

i use the stainless steel lines from Mazdatrix with Hawk HP+ pads and Ate Super Blue synthetic fluid. aside from the occasional squealing, i think that they are phenomenal.
