who would have thought, in new jersey no less that a 1979 rx7 would pass emissions inspection. Damn I love this car

lol I think I'm going to just leave this one alone, no mods to engine at all. She runs so good, I'm not chancing it. I just ordered tires, going to order struts and shocks, maybe upgrade to a cd player, but that's it.

exactly!! The damn carb and choke even work correctly. I was tempted to pull the rats nest and stuff, but tthen I know the carb will never operate the same again. SO I leave it all alone, this way I can keep buying stuff to rebuild the FD

nope the whole car is original 1979 111,000 miles, except the starter alternator and fuel pump
