Whats the recomended timing for a half bridge?

people seem to run about 22-27btdc L, i'd start about 22 and move up.

Racing Beat recomends 24 and 5 I believe, but thats for a full bridgeport

yeah it really depends on a bunch of stuff too. how well the port flows, intake and exhaust tuning (better these are in theory the less timing you need).



also it depends on the distributor, and crank/crank pulley index. there is 2-3 degrees of play between the crank pulley and the hub it sits on (try it, put the bolts in semi snug, and try to turn the pulley)... etc etc etc



so yeah start at something safe, like 20-22L and once you get the fuel dialed in, start advancing.
