I have an 82 GSL, I want to pick up some new springs, that lower the car. What is the best spring out there for the money. I hear Suspension Techniques are good. Let me know.

I have Eibach Pro-Kit springs on mine.

racing beat i think is the cheapest

how are racing beat springs compared to the ST springs.

I'm also interested in anyone's opinion of springs, as I'm looking at replacing mine fairly soon when I give the suspension it's 25-year overhaul. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...DIR#>/cool.png

I'm leaning towards the ST set as I'm not keen on the idea of going to a stiffer-than-stock setup for my daily driver. Of course, my conclusion is simply drawn by the spring-rate guideline chart from Mazdatrix.

i'm not sure. the rb springs are nice though, the are firmer, lower the car a bit but they still ride nicely

Racing beat springs are linear, not progressive, it's like riding in a go cart, I had the RB's on my 84 and they were pretty nasty. The ST's and they Eibach's are both a great product, I think I've got them in the store for about a $20 difference. However I have the Eibach's in stock and not the Suspension Techniques https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png
