I'm new, thought i would introduce myself.

I am 17, I live in Perth, Australia. I own a '79 RX7, which is fitted with a 13b that was re-built 40,000klm ago. I picked the car up for a relativly cheap price with some minor rust that needed fixing. The rust is now almost all fixed, and a majority of the repaired patches are in prima, the only rust remaining is behind the rear wheels, this will shortly be getting cut out and new metal put in. Hopefully in the future i will be adding a turbo of some sort, but untill then my 13b powers along more than enough for my first car. I haven't one friend that can out beat it, mind you, most of my friends are commodore buffs. Pity them. You figure the rust and driveline will be done in 3 months?What are you using for wheels.I know austrailia has a shitload amount of wheels for the FB there.

Umm, I'm not sure what type of wheels I'm gonna get yet, I haven't got any particular type in mind. All I know is that I want them in chrome black finish. I'll probably get some 17" ROH mags, but I'm not sure which.



The plan for exterior colour scheme is black chrome mags and windscreen trim, dark metallic green body, with black bonnet for the drift spec look. :smirk:

Maybe aluminium drift wing or something, depends on whats available.

I'd like a front air dam too, like viper's one.

Yeah I need to check out some places in Aus for bodykits. It would cost way to much to get one from the US, what with the dollar difference and then shipping.

The 12a is out and I'm saving my dollaridoos for the 13BT. I'm doing the bodywork while I'm saving cash for the engine.

Cool.Getting a T2 setup like mine then?With everything needed?I still need to get the wiring for S2 to S4 figured out.But that can wait till I get another chassis to start on.Then I'll get the bodywork and prep started.When I'm not working to get this beast started.

I'll have everything here except for the inline pump.I all ready have the SE mount parts from my original engine and all I need is a custom driveshaft and the spacer.Then the paint in the engine bay for sure before I drop it in there and do the wiring to it.

I'm pretty much doing the same setup you are. We can have a transcontinental dual project thingy happeneing. I'm just waiting on money. I could get a small loan or something, but I'm using the waiting time for the bodywork.

Theres a lot of stuff that I haven't decided on yet, like finer details of the driveline, including gearbox and diff. I would prefer to just get a complete s4 setup and then move from there, but i might end up buying an engine already set up. Theres a s4 13BT with microtech ecu, supra gearbox, surge tank and pumps going in the paper at the mo for $3500. But that probably won't be around by the time i get $$.
