The ft supsension, brake,cross member,struts,hubs..springs.etc..cost me $150.

The whole rear end set up will cost $200. I need that 4.10 gears posi rear end..

I will drop it in myself..But it will cost me more money..cause I will buy new bushings and springs struts/shocks etc..

I didnt want to spend alot of money on a car to strip It down and redo..

I payed $175 for my car...it took me $125. to get it running..and I got it high speed buffed and detailed from some friends at a dealer ship I was workin at ..at the time...then a sales man wanted to buy it for $2k cash..I would of made a ****** profit..but I turned him down..then that weekend..I got hit at the illegal street races and My car is still not done..I added the body parts...but now waiting for this kit deal to go through and then my friend is gonan paint it ..I willjust have to buy the paint...

go here..look for the ultima kit...this is what I will be getting

I love all gens of the Rx-7, I mean really, they are beautiful looking cars. I remember when my brother bought his 86 GXL (later became mine) in 1993. I knew nothing of RX-7's and thought it was just ******* cool looking. It felt like sitting in a cockpit, all the buttons and **** were accessable without even removing your hands from the steering wheel. It was light years ahead of my 84 mustang, but only two years older. I actually think the 3rd gen and 1st gen look more alike than the 2nd gen. I loving driving my 82, it has a very sports car feel to it. I wish it had about 200 more horsepower. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/BURNOUT.gif

I have had 1st gens for quite a few years now and I wouldn't trade them. It really doesn't take alot to get some more "umph" out of them and they are so simple, not full of all these bullshit sensors. Then you mess around and do the Turbo conversion or supercharge one, then it gets real fun. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/BURNOUT.gif I will be so glad when I get my conversion done. I've haven't cooked any "rice" in awhile. B)
