I did the self compression check by removing the front plugs and turning my e-shaft "psssss, *no sound*, psthump" rear rotor i did the same for "pssssssss, pssssss, pssssss" rear rotor seems to have phenominal compression. If my motor is blown i'm more than likely parting my car out and will probably never buy another rotary powered car, i've hated my expirence with them.

Oy vey, don't give up that easily. You should get a compression tester and test it properly. They're cheap enough, I think I paid $25 for mine.

Is it hard to start and feels like it has no power? That sucks, my experiences have been excrutiatingly pleasurable.

I'm sorry, but i've hated my expirence with my 7, it's been an educational expirence though. I've learned alot about the cars and about the motors, and now i want nothing to do with these cars and motors, they're not practical engines, they get terrible fuel economy, i have to do half an oil change inbetween my oil change, their power output isn't very impressive, worst of all these motors don't last long at all.

It's sometimes hard to start, i've got an efi model if that makes any difference though. It seems fairly powerful still, but i don't think i've expirenced the motor with full compression. It's idle is terrible, the needle bounces up and down, doesn't fluctuate much just bobs up and down slightly, my exhaust sounds terrible and very inconsistant at idle.

Cry me a river. I'm sure you're very upset right now, but it's not the end of the world.

Alot of blown motors are due to what we in the military call "Operator Headspace and Timing." What exactly happened?

The reason i'm so pissed is because i just got it back from the shop 6 months ago and spent 3k in "repairs" i wish i would have known what i do now about cars or i would have NEVER taken it to a dealership.
