ok, I have a question for all of you 1gen owners.

i need some ideas of what to do with the body. something to make is look very HOT! There are also some pic's of my engine i also need some ideas for that can anyone help. well at least some one say some thing. Any suggestions or Idea's.

enjoy! My car has since sustained severe natural problems. Hail, deer, and finally rust. But still looks good from 60yards! But those problems help me get a second gen car too. So I'm not all that mad.

First I would get rid of that droopy antenna, that definitely does not make the 7 look hot. If you are thinking of body kits there are a few manufactuers out there. http://www.erebunicorp.com/ge/mazrx779.htm

I like the 357 my self. Mariah also makes a wide body kit if you are into those.

Your 7 looks like its in pretty good shape, and I always thought the 1st gens looked good w/o too many exterior mods, just some nice wheels and tires and maybe some aftermarket springs that will bring it a little closer to the ground.

However I am just broke, and must rationalize as to why I do not have a body kit on mine :shakehead:

I would definately suugest going with a body kit. Mine has the standard kit(see members rides) that you usually see. You'll mainly have to decide whether or not you want a wing.

You should also look for some aftermarket wheels. The damn 4x110 pattern is hard to find, but there are still a few out there.

I didn't look at your engine pics, but if you haven't done it yet, get a header and aftermarket exhaust system. On a 1st gen, it's the difference between night and day. Mine is below.

bout the engine....i would definetely get headers and exhaust. Also get rid of the stock carbs, go with some Side drafts. I think side drafts on a rotary look SOOO ****** sexy!! also, rip out that fan shroud/clutch fan assembly and slap in an electric fan.



Exterior...There are many sexy *** body kits. i tend to like the simpler ones. Rear spoiler, and front bumper make a HUGE difference on that car.
