I just bought this gen 1 for 5k, i reckon it looks fucken mad.
every quarter panel has been re-built and extended give it a wide body of about 10-15 cm, and the front has been completely re-built, and the whole thing is done in metal. tell me what you all think, i like it, i was wondering what other people thought. EDIT: Made your pic smaller. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...DIR#>/wink.png |
Woah nice!
Why does it say daytona on the side though? Is it my daytona's hotter and older brother? |
Widebody is always cool, but the front end is a little too big for me. I'm sure it looks good in person though.
|
sorry i personally dont like that front bumper....everything else is great though...much congrats on your purchase https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/bigok.gif

I don't know why it says DAYTONA on it, it says it on the back aswell.
the bodywork is custom so i guess the guy who built the body must heve modeled it around the other daytona models here are some other photos |

don't like the front, al to there own i guess when i first bought it it wasnt my cup of tea either but it grows on you |
Looks too much like a Porsche 928 to me... Could be the miller high life talking tho... Nice color tho
|
I always thought about building a metal widebody FB but that thing has a nice look except the front. If the lower opening's were bigger like the middle one it wouldn't look bad.I love that mean stance tho. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/bigok.gif Thats the first all steel widebody I have seen and I like it.Where are you from?I see someone put porsche front lights on it too.
|
I think the front is a little too boxy, but the rear looks good.
I hate the SA taillights, but they actually are decent with that body work. |
I think I'm soo used to seeing the front bumper that its looks weird all blended in.
|
i like the color
|
WTF? That is the oddest body kit I've ever seen. Sombody put alot of time and effort into and for that I admire it. How many miles? What kind of engine? DETAILS MAN! It looks good but with all that metal there better be alot of engine. Still looks damn good though.
|
i like how all the bumper lines and other things are shaved. its crazy. don't go wrecking that piece of art. I would get rid of the daytona things before too long, whatever it takes. just my opinion though.

I rather have a stock body. Looks to fabricated for a street car. Just my 2 cents. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...DIR#>/cool.png

looks great and would make a good racecar

I was actually thinking of making the two holes at the
front the same size as the middle, probably look better. don't really have the money to change the body to much yet, still gotta concentrate on the engine, still got the stocky. Im from Aus so its done about 300,000 ks so the engines done about 187,500mls but its rooted, it either needs a rebuild or gonna chuck a S4/5 13BT in it. |
Great looking car man. Love the widebody.
