or be ghetto like my dad and drill a hole in the snock body so you can insert a nail or thin bolt through it to keep the hatch up..

Check at Canadian Tire. They offer a lifetime warranty on the hatch struts they sell.

or call them at 1-800-255-0088 they carry all kind of stuff there. I get most of my stuff from the dealer or there I don't like working twice so I buy new. |
My hatch struts only fail when it's really hot and windy outside. but usually they hold good in the winter without holding them for a few seconds
