I know it is not a nikki. Now that thats out of the way, it is a 4 bbl. I have looked for a name (weber) on the carb's body itself and no luck. Also looked for a part number or something similar and also no luck. My 12A has RB (mild) streetport and has (at least) the RB air filter housing. Not sure if it has the better intake or not. Was told it did but doesn't look like it to me. A friend of mine though it looked like a gm quadrajet, but wouldn't you see the plate that makes it work? My friend has been known to be a complete idiot at times so who knows. Sorry, had to throw that out there as an option lol. Thanks for any/all help.

If it has other RB stuff then chances are its one of the RB holley setups...i'm pretty sure weber only makes 2bbl carbs

if you scroll down a bit you'll see the holley with an intake manifold and a huge white breather...if its not that...then I don't have a clue...there aren't very many carbs that will run good on our cars...because of the extremly low CFM as compared to a normal 4bbl street carb

What makes you say you know its not a nikki? sounds like a nikki, might be a stripped carb.

In the haynes manual it says that there is the A/F screw and above it is the idle screw and comparing pics to what I have, the idle screw is not there and it looks slightly different. I honestly have no idea what it is. Hence the post.

maybe it's one of the Hitachi carbies that they used on the older rotaries?

that pic only works for the 79-80 nikki's the 81-8 carbs only have the 1 screw

Incase you didn't notice...don't trust the haynes manual...sometimes its ok...but generally its not very...accurate on its details

I don't know how many times i've almost set that thing on fire https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683358.gif
