you could do a ford 8.8" althought im almost posetive it requires a custom driveshaft

does the kia 4x4 bolt right to the stock driveshaft?

i am also interested as it is nearly impossible for me to find a gslse rear end, thankls

grannyspeedshop.com has some intresting info on gears for 1st gens check them out. as far as the 4x4 Kia Sportage I beleive its the gears only, from what I hear the Sportage is being stolen in Puerto Rico at the same rate as the GM, Chevy trucks here in the U.S. just for the diff's.......The Rotary Fever is crazy in PR.

From what I've heard you only can use the ring and pinion from the kia 4x4 not the whole pumpkin. As far as the Miata I believe the posi unit goes right into the pumpkin as a direct replacement.
