Does anyone know what maximum tire width/wheel offset you can use on the front of an FB (GSL-SE) without doing radical mods (read: adding a widebody kit)? I have aftermarket springs on, so it's maybe an inch lower than stock. I want to get the widest possible wheel/tire combo because they're gonna go on all four (so I can rotate) and I want the rears to get some traction...but without having the fronts rub or ding up the fenders. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683473.gif

i got an 84 and just had 215's put on all round, it rub's slightly on my front in tighter turn's, but not enough to really warrent smaller tire's (course mine is stock suspension, so you might have a bit more of a problem with it, not sure)

Thanks..that's the size I was going to guess if I didn't get any answers here. do you have the stock rims too? Just curious.

I've got Pirelli Tyres, 185/70/R13. I've got stock rims and suspension. Do 205's sound ok? I wanna get another set of Pirelli's but they only make the Performance Touring P400 (or some such) Tyres in 185/70/R13. They are All Seasons, which is ok, but I've already got a really good set of ice grabber tyres. If I go a little wider I can get maybe higher performance ones. But hey, Pirelli's are Pirelli's right?

lol this is the third car in a row that i've been there with, but alak, 205's sound good, i had those on when i first bought the car, there wasnt any rubbing even in tight turn's or when it squated, so i think you'd be set

ive got the roh snyper's, thery're 195/50/15. if i go mariah mode one, how much will the offset be between the wheels and the edge of the fenders?

Here's a pic of my very old Rx7 and it had 19x8 rims and 215/40/19

on the stock rims i have 215/60, on my aftermarket rims i have 225/45. the aftermarket wheels needed 5mm spacers to clear top coil when compressed, i believe i have a +38mm offset on a 16x7.5in wheel. i think a +34mm offset will work out for you if you order some wheels.
