I found cancer today. It started as a little hole and as I peeled it got bigger https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub..._DIR#>/sad.png I hunted everywhere and can't find aftermarket ones its only the drivers side. I guess I'll have to fab some unless someone knows where to get some?

Kinda common, especially in the rear fender wells under the storage area. To the best of my knowledge, there is no replacement parts. Take it to a welding shop and have them weld some plates in. I had to have both inner fender wells redone on mine and it probably better than it was new.

Viperx7 is right just find someone who can weld it for you.I need to fix a small hole myself.Just need to buy some steel to weld in and it will be better than new.Good Luck.

If your gonna DIY:
Most of the rx panels are built from .8 and 1mm from my experiences. Get your angle grinder out with a cutting disc, cut around the rusted area plus about 1cm around the visible rust to make sure you get it all, then weld in a new plate. Use cardboard as a rough guide to your plate size, then before you weld it in, I recommend coating it with some anti-rusting paint, like a cold-galv spray or something, (obviously leave the edges unpainted or you will find it hard to weld https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...DIR ) Worked like a charm for all my shizza. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/bigok.gif Racer X: Before you ask, I haven't done anymore on my project as I still don't have an adequate workspace. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...O_DIR#>/11.gif Still, I've spent a ****-load of money on seals and clips and other bits I'll need when she goes back together. ------------ Graham |

I used my cut off tool to remove all rust. I cut out perfect squares so it would be easy to weld new metal in. I had to buy speacial drill bits to drill out the spot welds where it attatched to the frame rail under the floor. I have my own mig setup so I'm gonna weld it in myself. I'm gonna attempt to make them look as arigianal as posible. Its kinda weired that the only rust on the car is the drivers side floor. There isn't even any behind the wheel wells just where the drivers feet would go.
