Hello,
I have replaced almost everything under the hood now...re-jetted nikki with about 500 miles on it, 2 new coils, new radiator and all 3 hoses, new water pump...ehh...probably missing something there. I'm about to put on a new alternator...anyone know where to get something with more power than 55 amps...and also where to get replacement wiring to connect to it? I would like something over 100 amps if possible...gonna install a high power stereo in a bit. My big problem right now is I'm only getting about 11 mpg...anyone know how to adjust the carb to get better mileage? I can't afford to drive more than a few days the week right now....used to get 16-18 before I got this new engine. any help will be appreciated. thanks, falcoln0014 |
i was gonna say sunk floats, but it could be the re jetting too.
the fd alternator is 100amps and its almost a bolt in (you have to swap pullies) mike |

that one has the same 2 wires as the first gen. b+ and the gauge output, the connector is different thats all
