Well we guesstimated(good word https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...DIR ) that mine was over 300 hp, obviously before the turbo died. Haven't had a chance to get it on the dyno though. I'll have to wait until the new turbo to find out now.

i just finished my 12a streetport and will take it to the track once i get bigger carb in a week or so, I will let you guys now what i did. I posted pics of car and engine in the new members chat under whats cracking.

Well, I've got a RB single outlet header/mini presilencer to the stock muffler canister, DLIDFIS for the ignition and no emissions, so I'm hoping for 10-12 hp over stock. When I get my Magnaflow and ditch the stock canister, maybe I'll get closer to the RB quote of 22% power increase at 7k.

haha i know this is pathetic but when i first got my car it put 37rwhp down! i was like is that allot(back in the day) and stock is 105hp, so hmmm 70%powertrain loss?? but i come to find the carb was running off 2 of the 4 barrels, so that might have helped a little but i think it would have taken it to maybe 60-75rwhp at the least, well got the nology wires on and the 48mm carb and took it back to the school like a wile after and put it on, well the teacher looked at the car and was surprised, it was funny, i had my hood open when dynoing it and my carb kinda whistles when the rpms get up there and some kid looks under the hood and says "DOES THAT HAVE A TURBO" and was totaly clueless about what he was talking about it made me laugh

I own an FC.. but guys i gotta hand it to ya. An FB + TURBO = cream in my pants.
I drove a turbo first gen once. Boose guage was reading 8psi. at the time i didnt know much about rotary's or turbo's ... man was that car FAST!. after that i bought my FC and have been slow ever since (n/a power yayyyyyy) T2 on the way -Markus "without the FB's us 2nd and 3rd gen guys wouldnt even be here..." CHEERS! |
I've got 510rwhp but it's a drag car so mine doesn't count but my old motor had 330rwhp from a EFI 13B P Port.

this is just a proposed setup or whant, but when i get my 12a rebuilt i am getting a bride port, done to accomadate the extra fuel my carb is putting into my stock block(carb came off a bp 12a from NY) then hopfully i can get the power i am seeking.
