After I shut off my engine, I see smoke from the front-right area of the hood down by the headlight. I replaced the engine and hoses before this, but it was smoking prior to that - occasionally. The smoke seems to be coming from the exhaust manifold, but I can't tell. Is there a hose on the carb that leaks? There are also a few drops down near the center of the pan that bolts onto the bottom of the engine. I don't understand why it's leaking - could it be the radiator? Any help is appreciated.

What does it smell like? If i smells sweet, then it would be antifreeze, you'll need to get your cooling system pressure checked.
If it's oil, try to trace it back to where it starts, fuel, well there are only a few lines carrying fuel so it should be all that hard. |
I know exactly what this is. It is bad news. You blew a inner seal. If you take your radiator cap off and start the moter (cold) does coolant shoot out or buble? If this happens there is only one way of fixing it and that is to dissisemble the moter and replace the seal. sorry for the bad news- Devon
