I just found a beaut of an 85 (GS) that I have to have. Not being of the persuasion of leaving things alone I intend to pop in an 86 n/a 13b (which I have from an FC) and EFI (also from the 86 or possibly the Wolf3D) but thats long finger stuff. What I really want to know is this, once the bigger power pops in and its time to upgrade the rear brakes to discs, is their anyway to do it wthout butchering a GSL-SE? I heard rumors of an early mx-5 miata swap but can't seem to find any information on it.

Also, once the bigger motor goes in the front what about the spring rates to cope with the increased weight, has anyone come up with a formula?

Just grab a GSL Rear-end. It does't add that much weight. I did't have a problem https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/smile.png

I did the GSL swap on my 84 GS it was easy. It has a good gear ratio and a lsd. I like the car a lot more sence I did the swap https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/BURNOUT.gif
