I have an 85 rx-7 with a dual weber on the 12a so i'm happy with the engine setup for now and was wondering what others had done for their suspension/steering/brakes. It'll still be the daily, but I can't leave things alone haha. something I'd really love to change is if there is some way to put on a hub with brake rotor instead of the single piece they have. I know i can turn the rotor on the car but when it comes to replacing it i'd rather just change the rotor instead of the whole damn assembly.

thanks

I'm not sure what options are out there for hub/rotor combinations.

But for suspension upgrades, you can't beat www.re-speed.com

They can advise you on your parts choices, based upon what you want to do with the car.

I asked for a car that I could drive to work everyday, and stomp on Miatas in autocross on weekends.

They nailed it on the first try! Check them out...

nice! i'll definitely look into them. not sure if you've looked at new rotors for yours or not but last time i did they were 134 per rotor since you have to change the bearings too

the conversion will have to wait till next deployment. parts alone will be over 700 and i've already spent too much on my FD haha

Actually, a couple of years ago I purchased a full set (front/rear) of rotors from Rockauto.com I chose the cheap ones, at about 17 bucks each. Scary cheap, but they have performed flawlessly. Even through daily driving, autocrossing, and a trip to North Carolina for the Deals Gap Rotary Rally last spring. I ran through one set of stock pads, and I'm almost through a set of Hawk pads, and the rotors are still in great shape.

I have no problem recommending them based on my own experience. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/smile.gif

fair enough, i like the idea of the new hubs though to get rid of the 4 stud stockers on it now that are rusting apart lol
