Just how do you guys set your radio, do you adj the bass/treble to where it sounds good with the equalizer off,,,,and then adj the equalizer,,,or do you turn the bass/treble to full left or middle and then adj equalizer,,,,am unsure of what to do first,,,cause it always ends up that the equalizer slides are topped out when i finish.....

i turn the treble all the way up, maybe the bass just a tad, and then go after the eq, my equ is fairly flat, but thats a taste thing

hehe original radio?
Its always personal taste to how you tweak your sound system. I found that the front lacks a bit of spacee for a decent speaker system. I had competition MB Quart 4in splits in the factory locations, with 6" speakers in the rear with a clarion CD headunit. Sounded good, but unless you go custom door pods, you can't do any better with the front staging. |
yeah the stock sounds great for what it is

I have the bass up just a little and the treble about neutral. My radio and eq have various settings according to the style of music, both of mine are set on rock. That style gives a little more highs, while still keeping some bass. I use 6x9's in the storage and 6.5's in the doors.
