So we were tossing around ideas on better ways to actuate the auxiliary ports on a 13B six-port, and my cousin suggesting using one of those little 12V air pumps that comes with the air horn kits you can get at Evil-Mart (oops, sorry, Wal-Mart) together with an rpm-activated switch.
Whaddaya think, would it work? You could use as low-restriction exhaust as you liked, and wouldn't need the factory air pump. |
that would work, plus you could have them open a little sooner too

I started a similar thread in the 2nd gen forum about this, but I was looking into using electric rotary solenoids w/rpm switch...

how about getting a euro spec lower intake manifold, they have butterfly valves

Why would they be different I wonder?
Anyway we thought about the electric actuators as well but the trouble is you have to have an actuator that has exactly the correct stroke, plus you have to make adaptor plates etc. |
Hey mike.Wheres the oil injectors on that intake.Damn Euro manifold looks like it doesn't have any.DJ Rotor: why don't your just run the 5th and 6th ports locked open?

Because I like the bottom end torque!
