How do you mount the front and rears on the Erebuni/Mazdatrix kit?I got mine in today and I know they screw in the fenders but how do you get the front to mount? Do you need the steel off of a set of stock bumpers?

thanks

Luis

My front nose piece has little flat pieces that slide under each turn signal. I also have 3 screws in the front where the hole is. As far as the rear, had a little problem with the corners wanting to hang down. Put 1 screw in each corner and 2or3 in each fender well.

That's about it. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...DIR#>/cool.png

Where's those damn instructions... https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683561.gif

LOTS OF EPOXY! https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683785.gif

Have you tried giving them a call to see if they have some kind of mounting FAQ?

Or maybe they just expect you to get it fitted professionaly??

You just gotta make sure you get it secure enough that it stays on whilst your flying down the freeway. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png

I wish it had instructions. The front looks easy enough but the rear is another story.Viperx7,Where does the main part of the rear get support from?If I just bolt it to the fenders the main part doesn't have any support

Thanks

The looks of the kit seem like fitment won't be that much of a issue.Damn they used think fiberglass on it.It looks like I need to buy a set of stock bumpers tho. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683358.gif

I put 1 screw on each corner, right before it curves around the side. Did that make sense? https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/blink.png I also put 2 screws in the license plate cut out. What type of bumpers do you have?

I think they use the stock metal bumper brackets underneath the fiberglass.

Like, take off the cover and replace it with the new cover??

It goes over the stock cover.Thats why in the Erebuni pic of it theres a stock molding showing.

Theres always good and bad with fiberglass. The good is the bumpers are on without much of a fight, but the bad is the side skirts will have to professionally fitted because even trying to get them to line up with some sanding they won't go on right. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub..._DIR#>/sad.png .

New pics of stock body with the enkeis on it will be posted in the next hour. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png those wheels are nice and bring out the body.I hope to swap the T2 in next saturday. If I can get some motor mounts then. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...>/rolleyes.gif

Viperx7 05-11-2003 07:54 PM

Yeah, that's the bad thing about fiberglass. It can be a PITA to work with. I got lucky on my sides. I only had to do minimal work to get mine on.
