I have a 84 gslse and want to put a bigger amp alternator but how do I find the connecter off of a 2nd gen?

Go to scrap yard, cut from harness of wrecked car.

OR... Post up ad on here or RX7club. Someone will have one.

The S4 alts are a direct swap, connector and all. You will need to thin down the thick spacer that goes behind the alt. Otherwise it is plug and play.

[/quote]There are two types of 2nd gen... Series 4 (86-88) and Series 5 (89-91). The S4 alternator is basically a direct bolt on. The S5 alternator requires modification of the wiring otherwise you will keep draining the battery.
