I recently had my AC fixed and now when i turn it on the car wont idle any ideas why?
|
of the top, id wonder about someone having kocked off a vacuum line or something. particularly the one that goes from behind the carb to the rear of the intake.
kinda odd though, cause the a/c valves are right on top |
Isn't there an idle speed plunger like most cars? The A/C drags down rpms, so a vacuum pot or solenoid bumps the idle up? Mine works, but I have to hit the gas first to engage it. Seems like it's supposed to work on it's own? As long as it works, I don't mind how I have to "work" it.,,,,BB
My 86 Ramcharger acts the same way. No idle adjustment til you hit the gas. |
I will check the vacuum lines. I'm not real sure how old they are anyway so i will probably just change them all. thanks for the help.
