Greetings - I have become the proud owner of a very wrecked 81, I thought it might be fixable, but the frame is pretty well bent and twisted. I got it for towing charges, from a girl at work. Her recently licensed son had slid front left corner first in to a concrete barrier.

I've pulled the front sheet metal and bumper off to get a better look. I can email pics and am planning at this point to sell it to someone who might need it for parts or part it out and sell the parts.

It has a 122,000 miles on the 12A /5 speed standard combo,

it was running good when wrecked

the oil cooler is under the radiator and is in good condition

standard aluminum wheels

decent black interior (driver seat will need recover)

good glass, quarters and rear lights

doors are good

drum brake rearend

My question here is: what is this worth complete? (I'd like to get $350.00 or so) and/or do any of you guys (or gals) need any parts? If I get close to $350.00 in parts requests I'll pull and ship as needed.

please email with questions, suggestions, or parts needed list(s)

thanks

Ronnie

What part of the country are you in

I'm in Round Rock, Texas - just north of Austin, pretty centrally located.

I'll get a few more pics of the frame and the "good" parts and email everyone later today.

The main reason I ended up with the car is that the newly licensed driver's uncle had stashed the car in his garage under a cover waiting for his nephew to get old enough to drive. So I believe it is in pretty good condition overall. I've got a Studebaker truck and '67 El Camino to spend my extra time and money on - if not for that, I'd look for a beater and swap the motor trans interior into it.

thanks for the interest
