I have them wired open right now.Can I or should I just pull the sleeves out of the manifold.Does it matter seeing as they're open right now anyways.I think it would look better without them there and the airpots removed.Any help is appreciated.

Thanx :bigthumg:

I think you would get a better response in the second gen section..

its really up to you. id try and get some pineapple sleeves just to make the transition smoother. in theory they work better.

So can I get away with just pulling them for now then? https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/dunno.gif

I'd leave them and get the inserts. I liked my GXL better with the sleeves in than out, the port looks like its not too smooth with the sleeves out. Like a brick wall at the end.

But I did still have EFI, with a carb I don't know how it would act.

That why I'm asking.I think I might try it.Worst comes to worst I can put the stocker sleeves back in it.

BTW Felix I love that first gen. :yum: I can't wait till my mazdatrix airdam shows up.Then I need the skirts to go with it. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png Should look good.

My airdam is from Mazdatrix, but they drop shipped the bitch from Wings West. I wish I had known that, I could have saved myself some trouble.
